CALL TO RALLY AGAINST HATE
Tonight Hoenheim to the houses of two families from Turkey have been the target of arsonists and swastikas were placed on their walls.
The Strasbourg chapter of the League of Human Rights is outraged to see that the Strasbourg region was again the site of acts of xenophobia!
We condemn all such acts more strongly they would have cost the lives of the residents, and they were committed out of hatred of foreigners. We extend our support to families and to all inhabitants of Hœnheim.
These fires adds to a series of heinous acts recently perpetrated in the region. We again urge the authorities to do their utmost to arrest the perpetrators of these acts, and send a strong signal to racist individuals who are likely to commit new crimes.
Yet, tolerance and living together "are and have always been dear to the heart of Alsace.
Thus, we call on all citizens (do) s coming reaffirm their commitment to these values and serve their ras-le-bol of this wave of hatred at a rally to be held this Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 18 am, Place de la République in Strasbourg .
