Les Halles are parties to the Paris Rungis in the late 60s, but some large houses retail food trade remained near the "belly of Paris". The area surrounding the Rue Montmartre and Rue Etienne Marcel is needed. Here continues a smell of French quality.
is again a good opportunity to accompany his or her companion for shopping, and rather than waiting on a chair with Yoji, you can tour the center of French gastronomy.
I put links, but these shops are not great communicators, in particular to non-professionals. Sites remains a mystery in particular that of A. Simon.

specialist kitchen equipment since 1820, is the reference Dehillerin Paris. If you've never been there, it is sin. We cross the famous Japanese looking stove to make the omelet of the mother Poulard, of New York-fitted to their cook, provincial bourgeois seeking copper bath. ... This is the face of the store where the bulk of sales are made with great restaurants and chefs worldwide.
Mora

Beautiful house founded in 1814, rather oriented pastry. That same address in the pastry. No need to go elsewhere. Here's all pro, pro so that individuals are just very well tolerated visible. Looking for a candy thermometer? Choose from ten models. Pastry bags, spatulas, whisks, electric hobs, cutters ... You'll find the best.

Two stores that are needed in this area highly culinary, two faces, one in Blue Kitchen work, the other with its vendors for the art of the table. Of course, I prefer the blue side of working 52 rue Montmartre. Sellers are sometimes a bit dry, but I still buy my knives with pleasure.
The Bovida
36, rue Montmartre, 1er Paris

is a very nice house, like we did more, a little more upscale (a slightly less blue overalls), a provincial side, 80s, gray suits and lace collars. This is the place to go and buy yourself a saucepan (large selection Mauviel upstairs).
Another site focusing pros still many shops around the old slaughterhouses of La Villette, Porte de Pantin and Villette. If you have the opportunity to move into the neighborhood, take time to stroll through this terrible Avenue Corentin Cariou. The stores are less glamorous, but push the door of one of them to get lost among the robots, tanks and other pianos cooking. Ecstasy guarantee, absolutely live.
The Bovida
19, avenue Corentin Cariou, Paris 19th
The Corpo

J. House Bellynck

At all events, past addresses, a misunderstanding can always find something:
Common Market
24, rue de Sèvres, 7th
Paris Le Bon Marché, which was very granny, installed a very good kitchen range a few years ago. Nice selection of knives.
Lafayette House
35, Boulevard Haussmann, Paris 9th
For his basement possibly
Kitchen
110, 15th Street Theatre Paris
A very good selection of small kitchen equipment.
